My work as

UX / UI Designer

“I think, my passion about UX design first recognised when I was a child and on my sixth birthday I’ve got a remote controlled car. I played for a couple of hours with that, and although I was really excited, I wasn’t very pleased how did it work, so I took it apart to see, can I make it better?!

I remember, back then my parents weren’t very satisfied with my new interest. But now I know, how important it is to understand the driving force behind the product, and how to present it to the user in the best possible way.”

iGaming Projects

As a team leader and UX/UI Designer at Play’n GO, my responsibility was to establish the user-centered design process at the company. And not just designing, but making the user interface, layouts, user interaction and gaming experiences to look, feel and perform the best way as possible on multiple platforms. Like desktop, mobile and land-based gaming terminals. The interface should be easy to learn, understand and memorised through a responsive and clean UI.

UX Design Process

RESEARCH

Collected all the information about business needs and user expectations through stakeholder interview, competitor analysis and comparative usability testing.

CONCEPTUALISE

Made a holistic view of the product to see and understand the big picture based on the results of the UX research. Used methods: customer journey mapping (user stories), built up the information architecture and ideation workshops.

DESIGN

In this phase I sketched up a detailed design of the product. The output of this phase was the low and high fidelity wireframes focused on the content, not the visuals. Remote and lab usability testing have been conducted from the early phase of the design step.

EVALUATION

Evaluated the design with users and stakeholders. Since developers have been involved in all phases of the UX process I could make designs that worked in every scenario.

ITERATION

When something came up at the evaluation step, I went back to the right phase and made the necessary modifications on the design.

UNDER DEVELOPMENT

I took part of the QA testing and helped the developers when the product needed any kind of modifications that would have an impact on usability.

PRODUCT RELEASE

Measured user satisfaction and analysed UX related data from business intelligence.

UX Design Process

RESEARCH

Collected all the information about business needs and user expectations based on the old version of the product. Conducted stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis and comparative usability tests.

CONCEPTUALISE

Based on the UX research and the design data of the former product I recreated all the layouts and made low-fidelity wireframes.

DESIGN

Since we had a former product and a strong concept about new features, the output of this phase was high fidelity visuals. A/B and unmoderated user testing have been conducted from the beginning of the UX design process.

EVALUATION

Evaluated the design with users and stakeholders. Developers have been involved in all phases of UX design.

ITERATION

When something came up at the evaluation step, I went back to the right phase and made the necessary modifications on the design.

UNDER DEVELOPMENT

I took part of the QA testing and helped the developers when the product needed any kind of modifications what would have been an impact on usability.

PRODUCT RELEASE

Measured user satisfaction and analysed UX related data from business intelligence.

Multi-Platform Roulette

One of my responsibilities were to fit new features or game elements into places, where it was impossible to fit them in.
The European Roulette Pro is a very good example of how I dealt with that challenge.

UX Design Process

RESEARCH

Collected all the information about business needs and user expectations through stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis and comparative usability testing.

CONCEPTUALISE

Since we had a much more simpler version of this product, I made sketches only of the new user interface and the pro features, like statistics and advanced betting.

EVALUATION

Evaluated the design with the developers and stakeholders.

ITERATION

When something came up at the evaluation step, I went back to that phase and made the necessary modifications on the design.

DESIGN

In this phase I sketched up a detailed design of the product. I also made several prototypes testing the usability of the new UI.

EVALUATION

Evaluated the design with users and stakeholders.

ITERATION

When something came up at the last evaluation step, I made the necessary modifications on the designs.

UNDER DEVELOPMENT

I took part of the QA testing and helped the developers when the product needed any kind of modifications what would have been an impact on usability.

PRODUCT RELEASE

Measured user satisfaction and analysed UX related data from business intelligence.

Mobile UI

At the beginning of this project we had multiple issues with the user interface of these games. Players have found that really hard to find important features, because they were hidden in the settings. And besides that, it was a hardship to understand how the features really work. For example for starting the Autoplay - which was very popular - players had to get in the menu, then set it up, and then start the feature. That meant 3 or 4 taps in every occasion when they started a game, so the players were disrupted all the time. Me and my team re-designed the whole UI and re-made all elements of the UI. Thanks to our efforts, the most used features can be reached right from the main screen.

Game Miniaturisation

Our task was to create a new platform what capable of display as many video slots as possible from the existing game range of the company in the size of a usual internet advert. We have researched and designed a multi-platform solution, and created all the assets for the developers as well. As a result of this project the dimensions of our small sized video slots were reduced from 1600x900 to 320x240 pixels, in which size it can be fitted into the advert. The time to get the players involved reduced by 75%, and because of the players could play multiple slots at a time, it multiplied the profit of the casinos as well.

UX Design of

The
OMNY
Terminal

One of my most interesting project was the UX design of the OMNY Terminal. Debuted on ICE 2018 in London, this pioneering product is suitable for land-based, digital and hybrid operators, enabling players to transfer game progresses across any land-based or digital devices via a standard user profile. It is set to reshape how and where players could enjoy casino games. It has single or multi-screen setup and it can be controlled via touch screen or physical buttons.

"Judges in the category were impressed by the supplier’s consistently strong output of innovative games, featuring vibrant graphics and unique gameplay features, complemented by its pioneering OMNY® product which allows for a truly omni-channel experience." - CalvinAyre.com

PRIMO VISION

Time-lapse System, UI/UX and graphic design

The user-friendly interface provides an easy and reliable way to monitor event and cleavage timings as well as cleavage patterns. It allows identification of morphological events like PN formation, ploidy, multinucleation, fragmentation and blastocoel dynamics. The remote access option gives access to closed or running projects from different locations for monitoring or consultation with colleagues.

Easy-to-use

The UI is designed to fit the lab’s workflow in a flexible way. A clinic’s preferences are easy to adopt, while new, smart functions and built-in automated processes help embryologists to save time and simplify embryo evaluation.

Focus on the workflow

The Primo Vision software places the lab in the focus: the easy navigation among the functions and semi-automated processes help to speed up the time-lapse monitoring workflow. System settings follow the lab’s routine in the decision making process: data from basic project parameters to detailed analyser profiles are within easy reach.

Customisable

Customer defined settings provide full flexibility in the lab’s work. Pre-set profiles for capturing and analysing enable standardisation and quick embryo evaluation. Personalised reports and videos on embryos’ development help the embryologist and doctor to share projects with colleagues and patients.

Flexible analysis

Keep it simple for routine and flexible for research: the pre-set profiles enable quick and simple annotations and anlysis, even while the project is still running. The analysing interface enables the annotations of kinetics and the assessment of morphology at the same time. Different ways of comparing annotated embryos help to make a better decision related to transfer, cryopreservation or discarding. Scanned images taken in different focal planes ensure visibility of the tiniest details.

Unique features

The Smart log function tracks all user activities of the analysis. Smart tools help to measure fragmentation and blastomere symmetry. User authentication and different user roles ensure complete data protection.

Work where you are, share when you want

The remote access option gives access to closed or running projects from different locations. Colleagues can be involved in teaching and training while research has never been so easy with the flexible working method that the system allows.
